Nikki Pesusich is a seasoned public relations and marketing communications executive who excels at developing and implementing multi-platform campaigns for a broad range of entertainment, lifestyle, corporate, nonprofit, entrepreneurial and social impact clients. She has worked for and alongside such conglomerates as NBCUniversal, Discovery Networks, PBS, Paramount Studios, Warner Bros., MGM, Fox and A&E Networks, and has played an integral role in the launch of several cable television networks, including Animal Planet and History. Her professional expertise includes identifying strategic alliances, managing media and talent relations, producing special events, implementing sponsorship opportunities and product integration initiatives, and generating brand activation opportunities tailored to each client’s specific goals. Prior to launching Coterie Media, Nikki served as Vice President of Entertainment for the powerhouse publicity firm Rogers & Cowan, where she was responsible for developing and implementing marketing, publicity and promotional campaigns. Prior to that, she spearheaded media and corporate communications for A&E and History. Nikki began her career in advertising at Ogilvy & Mather where she worked on Microsoft and American Express. She graduated from Pepperdine University with her degree in Marketing and Advertising.
In his role as Chief Enterprise Officer, Carey Warren spearheads Coterie Media’s digital marketing arm where he devises integrated marketing, branding, promotions and strategic publicity campaigns. Carey’s proven tactics create buzz, increase impact, generate traffic, and enhance value to the bottom lines of our clientele. In addition to having worked with multiple television and entertainment clients, Carey has also led diverse initiatives for clients in the retail, renewable energy, medical and corporate industries. His pro-bono work includes consulting with notable cause-related think tanks in Washington, D.C., as well as other charitable causes relating to children and animal causes. Carey’s expertise extends to Spanish language and direct response long-form advertising, in addition to automated marketing campaigns, email marketing, mobile device marketing, influencer marketing, content marketing, display advertising and promotional integration. Carey began his career in advertising at The Wall Street Journal, where he managed the company’s largest client list (measured by total sales revenue). He also ran media sales offices for Katz Media, Dow Jones Broadcasting, Hachette Filipacchi, and Guccione Media. Carey earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University.
Jane Sparango is a seasoned publicity professional who has an exceptional track record securing wide-spread national press coverage, producing results-driven social media campaigns, and managing celebrity red carpet events. Her expertise includes television and film promotion, event and brand marketing, and specializing in the planning, development, and implementation of campaigns for companies with a focus on media relations, content development, and executive visibility. Previously, Jane served as senior publicist and supervising web content producer for MGM Studios’ Stargatefranchise, where she was responsible for the production of over 200 video vignettes promoting various Stargate television series, including promos, trailers and viral campaigns. She was also responsible for securing press coverage for Stargate-SG1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universeresulting in the series winning a People’s Choice Award. Some of the nonprofit campaigns that she directed the publicity efforts for include the Television Academy Foundation and the Gil Garcetti-inspired Wells Bring Hope. Her efforts including securing celebrity ambassadors, implementing social media activities, creating branded web content, developing fundraising campaigns, and serving as press liaison. Jane began her career as a television producer in New York City, and has held key producing positions at NBC, Discovery Networks, WeTV, King World, Hearst, MTV and VH1. She holds a BA in communications and journalism from the University of Delaware.
Carolyn Thompson Goldstein
Carolyn brings over 25 years of talent and project management to Coterie Media, having worked for Caroline Leonetti Talent Agency, Media Artists Group, and Amsel, Eisentadt, and Frazier. At AEF, Carolyn spearheaded their Children and Young Adult department, working with actors from 3 to 25 years of age. Carolyn represented actors such as Josh Hutcherson (Hunger Games), Trevor Einhorn (Frazier, Mad Men), Christa B. Allen (Revenge), David Henrie (Wizards of Waverly Place), Malcolm David Kelley (LOST), and Joy Lauren (Desperate Housewives). Carolyn continues to manage clients, recently placing them in commercials for Volkswagen, Sprint, and a series of network pilots. Carolyn’s most recent project involved our promotion with Ralphs, where she devised and directed a successful local outreach that gave away over $35,000 to needy schools. Carolyn has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola Marymount.
Liz Svatek is the penultimate social media expert, and has a proven track record in building and accelerating brands and companies using social media strategy, blogger activation, influencer cultivation, and celebrity marketing and partnerships to drive sales results, generate awareness and create buzz. She connects high profile brands direct to consumers through her personalized social media strategies and network of bloggers and celebrities. Prior to joining Coterie Media, Liz founded Blacksheep Social Media Group, a full service social media agency that executed “out of the box” social media campaigns on multiple platforms. Her clients included celebrities, chefs, telecommunication and multimedia companies, authors and other experts in their fields. She is also the founder of Warrior Mom Brands and the One Fabulous Mom blog. Liz is a graduate of Rollins College.
